Congratulations to one of our award-winning tenants
Congratulations to Farndon fine art portrait photographer Julie Herbert Adams, who reached the final of the Guild of Photographer’s Image of the Year Competition.
Julie is one of our brilliant tenants at Top Farm in the village of Farndon, where she has her studio.
Her haunting image, titled, ‘Lacrimosa – Our Lady of Sorrow’ was created with the help of Mozart and a huge tank of water. It was runner-up in the avant-garde category in this year’s awards.
The Guild is a highly respected UK based professional association for photographers, which also includes members from overseas. Every year it runs an online monthly photographic competition, judged by internationally respected judges, with awards given to the very best entries.
During 2023, the competition attracted well over 12,000 entries from the most talented of photographers across the whole of the UK.
Julie said: “My images are very ethereal, meaningful, beguiling and most importantly thought-provoking. My intention is always that they resonate with the viewer on an emotional level and leave a lasting impact."
She is hoping to exhibit the Lacrimosa and other works this year and will also be offering fine art limited edition and masterworks for sale.
