Final building works and snagging at Crewe Hall Farm were completed which coincided with screening the buildings by creating several new hedges and filling gaps of existing ones. These hedges will in time act as an important wind break for livestock, provide feed for birds and enhance biodiversity.
Two orchards were also planted totalling over 100 fruit trees including many varieties of apple, plum, pear and mulberry. One orchard is new and the other is a replacement of old stock.
