Celebrating Bog Day with our peatland restoration work
This Sunday is Bog Day, an international event which celebrates the brilliance of bogs, fens, swamps and marshes.
We’re currently involved with our own important peatland restoration project by Fenn’s Moss on the English/Welsh border.
Our plan is to restore it to maximise the sequestration of carbon dioxide and to recreate the optimum peat bog conditions as part of our long-term environmental estate strategy.
Find out more about our work here.
